About Affiliate Links

I want to be honest with my visitors about the affiliate relationships I’ve established with various retailers and programs. Many of the links within the website are called affiliate links, this means that if you go on to purchase a product from that retailer, I make a small commission. Running Costs

What costs you ask? Well, hosting (I hope you found the website pretty fast), graphic design (I am pretty useless at making icons and other things look nice, so I hire people to help with that), LLMs (Large Language Models) to categorize and organize the listings better than anywhere else, and then the tools to build the website, including subscriptions to Cursor and countless dollars spent on the Claude API. I’m sure there are more costs, but I also enjoy this, so it’s a hobby too. I’ve been into computers since I was about 9 or 10, a while! But it would be nice to run at a non-loss.

Having said that, I’ve always been super clear: the amount of commissions doesn’t impact how things are displayed, you get the results in the order you want. I’m committed to maintaining the integrity and objectivity of the content, and affiliate links won’t influence the information provided.
